Inspired by the home of one of the most prolific serial killers of the 19th Century, H.H. Holmes. He was physician and con man who lured in and killed unsuspecting victims in horrific ways. He designed his home to be a kind of play ground for his sick fascination. It consisted of multiple rooms that had hidden devices and other methods to torture and kill his victims. He was eventually caught, where he confessed to murdering 27 people but was only charged for 1. He was sentenced to death and executed in 1896. This infamous location in Chicago was given the name, The Murder Castle. The building later was destroyed by suspected arson & then torn down in 1938.
This in an original fragrance created by us that takes inspiration from the man himself & the fate of the location. This unique fragrance blends notes of tobacco leaf, patchouli, cedar, caramel, musk and smoked, charred wood.
